India

For my second post I decided to write about the food in India. The reason I chose to write about India is because it is one of my favourite styles of food to eat. I love the amount of flavour that you can get into a dish and the aroma that comes from the spices used. In India they uses so many spices when cooking for many reasons. two of the main reasons are because in the hot climate the food will spoil more easily and the spices preserve the food another reason they use spices is because it helps them sweat which helps to keep them cool in the hot temperatures.
India is located in South Asia and has a very variable climate. When you think of Indian food you most likely think of a curry but there are hundreds of different types of curry. Some of the more well known curries are Korma, Tikka Masala, Balti and Saag Aloo.
Saag Aloo
